4 star Hotel Athena sienne

“wonderful staff”

REVIEWED on the 17th october 2011    We were four ladies of a certain age on a reunion holiday and couldn`t have picked a better hotel. It was situated just inside the city walls so everything was within walking distance. The view from the terrace is lovely particularly at sunset and when it is warm ,drinks and dinner are served up there. Breakfast is adequate, we had dinner there one night which was delicious. Two of us changed rooms because we wanted the wonderful views over the countryside from the back of the hotel. This was achieved with a minimum of fuss. All the staff from reception, bar and restaurant were so helpful and friendly,particularly Linda and Luigi. On our last night the hotel hosted a fashion show for a local design shop, Il Telaio and a jewellery designer, Simona Calamusa and two of us were asked to model some of the designs. It made our holiday, it was such fun. Suggestions on the stay: Ask for a room at the back for the view

TRES BELLE SITUATION

18/03/2012   Belle situation pour cet hotel juste à l’entrée des murailles de Sienne, avec le précieux avantage d’un parking gratuit à l’arrière. Les chambres sont grandes et la nôtre bénéficiait d’un canapé et d’une vue magnifique sur la campagne toscane. Nous avons bénéficié d’un surclassement dans une chambre de catégorie supérieure. Le personnel est aimable, le hall d’accueil agréable, et le petit déjeuner très complet. Un PC est mis à disposition au comptoir de l'hotel (station debout).

24/10/2011   Excellent, helpful staff, very attentive. Large, airy room, very clean and well appointed (1st floor) Great location for walking Siena. 100 metres up the road towards centre the 1st restaurant on the right (can't remember the name) is superb. Try the veal. Free car parking and they will park your car for you.

Le point +++ est l'emplacement de cet hôtel, le coeur de ville est accessible à pied en 5-10 mn. De +, il bénéficie d'un parking, ce qui ds le quartier est absolument nécessaire.La chambre était spacieuse et la vue agréable.   Reviewed on the 3rd of November 2011
