Where we are

From "Siena Ovest" follow indications for Porta S. Marco - Duomo. Pass through the Porta S. Marco gate, go down a short stretch of road running alongside the city walls until you reach our private and FREE parking facilities on the right. The hotel is inside the city center but outside the ZTL (restricted traffic area).

The Hotel Athena is situated in the historical centre of Siena, an enviable position facilitating your visits to the main tourist attractions of the city, from the Cathedral to Piazza del Campo, where the Palio is held twice a year, from the Torre del Mangia to Fontebranda, from the Baptistery of St. John to the Medicean Fortress, all just a short distance away from our hotel.

If you wish to explore the surrounding area of Siena, you can set off from here to discover the marvels of Tuscany: the enchanting area of Chianti, the town of San Gimignano with its breathtaking towers, the medieval villages celebrated for their DOC specialities, such as Montepulciano, with its Vino Nobile and Montalcino, the world-famous terroir of Brunello wine.

Discover the Crete Senesi, a territory with characteristic moon-like landscapes and Monteriggioni, famous for its ancient medieval castle. The Hotel Athena looks forward to welcoming you to a medieval environment of timeless charm, with a wealth of artistic masterpieces and prestigious historical traditions.

The Hotel Athena you can easily reach:Reach
